Mr. Sturdivant is a proud Graduate of THE ALABAMA STATE UNIVERSITY were he received a BA of Mathematics. He is a seasoned teacher of 19 years, having served 11 years in the SUMTER COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM.  

Mr Sturdivant has taught Pre Algebra and Algebra 1 to seventh and eighth graders in three different schools.  He also has three years experience in High School.  This experience helped better prepare he for teaching middle school mathemetics, because this gives him a good prospective on what middle school students needs to be successful in high school mathematics.
